A whole school assembly was held in the new gymnasium at which we celebrated the success and achievement of all our 2009 students who passed Level 1 or 2 NCEA with either a Merit or an Excellence endorsement.  It was great to see the increase in the numbers of students reaching this standard compared to our 2008 results, and it confirms  that many more of our students are embracing our school motto of 'Titiro Teitei' or Aim for Excellence.

At an evening function for these students and their parents on the same day, the Board of Trustees presented letters of congratulations and vouchers to show their appreciation and acknowledgement.  These events are now an important part of our annual calendar and it helps motivate and inspire our students to be the best they can.
