New Zealand is amongst the highest placed countries in the OECD for educational achievement in literacy, numeracy and the sciences. Waiuku College is proud to be a part of that education system and to offer a quality of education that is world rated. One of the special characteristics of our students, our college and our community is our love of sports, activities and the outdoors.

Less than an hour from Auckland city, Waiuku offers a small town and country living experience with access to farms, beaches, rivers and harbours, along with a multitude of sports teams and clubs. Maori culture and performing arts are also strong and popular at our school, something which many of our international students enjoy getting involved with.

Our international student numbers are kept low to ensure there is effective integration and english language learning at all times. Student numbers in senior classes are also kept low to ensure academic success for those wishing to achieve University entrance. I am proud of our new but experienced team of international staff who ensure we deliver a superior quality educational, cultural and homestay experience.
